You now have a new computer and are prepared to configure it. This may seem like a difficult and stressful undertaking, but it's much simpler than you may imagine! It doesn't matter what kind of computer you have because most PCs are set up similarly.

You'll probably discover a how-to manual with step-by-step instructions if you're setting up a new computer that's still in the box. Even if it didn't come with instructions, setting up the computer just requires a few simple steps. We'll walk you through each step involved in configuring a normal computer.

The complete list of computer and monitor accessories is shown below.

The keyboard should be taken out of its packaging and plugged into one of the USB ports on the computer's rear. similar action for the mouse.

You can attach external speakers or headphones to your computer's audio port if you have them (either on the front or back of the computer case). Ports on many computers are color-coded. The green port is used to connect speakers or headphones, while the pink port is used to attach microphones. The line-in port, which is blue, can be used with many gadgets.

## <mark style="color:purple;">Step 6:</mark>

The two power supply cords that come with your PC should be located. Connect the first power supply cable to a surge protector before inserting it into the back of the computer case. The display should now be connected to the surge protector using the other connection.
